A bit about Double Yolk Record House:
My name is Hannah Read. I started this thing called Double Yolk Record House to shelter my experiments in making and sharing music. Double Yolk currently operates as a simple digital record label. It is a small budget, big heart endeavor. Truth is, I don't got much to offer in terms of boosting anyone's music career, and I don't think I'd wanna if I could. But I got lots to give for making some music together in these little lives. And so that's the plain old Double Yolk goal, to encourage music making outside the usual get big and bigger mindset of the biz. I hope that one day Double Yolk will be a real life, wood and rock, three dimensional house that can serve many functions to support and encourage a common musicful life for me and anyone I get to work with. Phewee. Who knows.

A Collection of Bird Songs by Acre Memos
Acre Memos' second album, A Collection of Bird Songs, is 10 songs of swimming and flying, losing and losing, and of course, love. It was recorded at Lazybones Studio in Silsbee, TX, sporadically throughout 2020-2022. It features a lot of singing, acoustic guitars, hammer dulcimer, cello, piano, drums, bass, synth and flute.

Honey Island General Store by Little Mazarn
At some urging, Little Mazarn took a trip down to Silsbee, TX, in order to work with Tommy Read, Hannah Read (Lomelda) and Eric Adams (Acre Memos). The team came together as half strangers with half songs to create these five song recordings. Thank goodness. This is one that won't wear out.

amen! by hemlock
"amen!" is a 6 song masterpiece from the songwriter mind of Carolina Chauffe, drummer Kyle Dugger and bassist Lindsey Verrill. The trio performed the songs together, eyes locked and hearts synced at Lazybones Studio in Silsbee, TX, in December 2023. How did they do it? Hands held out and open, i didn't know in one palm and amen! in the other, inviting you to grab on and hold tight.
